b'IAA Foundation Scholarship ProgramEducation is an Investment Inspiration to achieve. Motivation to serve. These are the sentiments scholarship recipients often share when reflecting what financial support means to them. The IAA Foundation has long served as a place for agricultural partners and families to fulfill their charitable wishes to support the next generation through scholarships. Our scholarships support agriculture majors, Illinois Farm Bureau members, and those wishing to strengthen rural communities. As educational and workforce needs change, so does our diverse lineup of scholarships. In 2019, the IAA Foundation was honored to support 79 students with awards totaling $122,900. Students are selected to receive scholarships based on their academic achievement, participation and leadership in school and community organizations, and their overall commitment to a successful future in agriculture.CHASE CLAUSEN Genoa, IL - DeKalb CountyUniversity of Illinoisat Urbana-ChampaignAgribusiness Markets andManagement MajorBeing the recipient of theLegacy of Leadershipscholarshipis humbling and I hope to use my experience to continue toimpact agriculture.Demonstrated leadership with an emphasis on college involvement, excellent academic achievement and involvement with Illinois Farm Bureau propelled Chase to being the 2019 Illinois Farm Bureau Legacy of Leadership scholarship recipient.
