b'Remembering aLEGACYJean Stubblefield Jean Roberts, the daughter of James and Maude Roberts, was born August 21, 1918, in rural McLean, Illinois. Her parents purchased a farm when she was five years old, and her father was instrumental in her passion for agriculture. Throughout her life, she dedicated much of her time to caring for the farm and its animals. In 1966, Jean married Jesse Stubblefield, and the two enjoyed life on the farm together until his death ten years later. Jean was devoted to the farm her entire life. In a final act of generosity, Jean left her active family farm to the IAA Foundation. She asked that the farm be used to support education, agriculture, and provide care for animals. This farm will not only be a tribute to Jeans legacy but will ensure that others will have the opportunity to live out that legacy through their own passions for agriculture. Herman and Cecilia Wiedle Herman and Cecilia Wiedle, known fondly as Herm and Ceil, will make their lasting mark in Clinton County by distributing farming and conservation ground to the IAA Foundation. Married for 70 years, the couple had a passion for farming and conservation. Herm and Ceil asked that their land be used to establish scholarships for students in Clinton County. Education was important to them and by leaving behind this legacy, the two knew that students would benefit for many years to come.
